Bill is on staff with MSU's International Visiting Professional Program since July 2006.
Bill is currently the volunteer office manager with Community Volunteers for International Programs (CVIP) at Michigan State University. He is in the office from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. The office is located in the International Center, Room 12C.
You are welcome to stop by to learn more about CVIP's various programs and for an informal chat. We recommend the Friendship Family program. We encourage students to consider being a speaker with CVIP's Speakers Bureau so that American children and other community organizations can learn more about your culture and homeland.

I have helped non-English speakers learn English for more than 25 years. I have tutored others in literacy skills.. I taught "explicit" phonics in China from 2000-2004 visiting the same school five times for a maximum stay of four months.
I attend the International Coffee Hour in the International Center on Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Come and meet other internationals. These are held during the Fall and Spring semesters. During the summer there is a monthly ice cream social in the Crossroads Food Court area.
